UTEC’s Industrial Measurement division has developed a two tier client service: for existing customers who require dimensional control work in yards and offshore for spool piece and other subsea structure 3D measurements; new process plant and onshore/offshore customers who require larger more detailed dimensional control services.

New advances with laser scanning technology are making headway in industry and UTEC Survey is delivering the high precision benefits this technology offers. This technology allows one to view the 3D data in a viewer or export 3D CAD for a variety of uses: demolition, new Brownfield plant/rig modifications, equipment design and extract fabrication drawings.
