Metocean data acquisition

UTEC can provide equipment such as acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP) technology to produce a record of water current velocities for a range of depths, with buoys typically installed either for a lunar month (in the case of precise water depth requirements) or for an entire season. Data retrieval from these sensors is via telemetry or satellite, or downloaded directly from the sensor to a facility equipped for this purpose.
